The school year is coming to an end and it may be, finally, safe to say that… winter is over! June is an amazing time to get outside on the trails, lakes, and ballfields…but it’s also filled with art fairs, family festivals, and carnivals around the area…here’s a few that caught our eyes:
June 7-11: Albertville Friendly City Days (Carnival runs Thu-Sun; Saturday Events for Kids including fire truck display, Kiddie Parade, Kids Pedal Tractor Pull, and Toddler Town.)
June 10-11: Chalkfest Maple Grove (Free, 2 day street art festival on Main Street in Maple Grove – Amazing Chalk Art from local artists).
June 10-11: Deutsche Tage in St Paul – 65th annual German Days…enjoy German food, Paulaner Beer, Music, Dancing & Cultural presentations/exhibits
June 15: Kingfield PorchFest 2023 – Free Acoustic Music in the Kingfield Neighborhood (as the name suggests – on people’s porches!) Walk the dog, stroll w/ the kid, saunter through and enjoy the evening and music (6-9pm)
June 17: Midsommar Celebration – American Swedish Institute – dance around the Midsommar pole & welcome back warm weather
June 17-18: Minneapolis Stone Arch Bridge Festival – art and music on the Minneapolis River Front! (Help dads celebrate Father’s Day!!!)
